ABOUT
Here is a little bit about myself.
I was born in 1970 in Kansas City. Both of my parents are commercial artists and I guess a bit of that must have worn off on me. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been surrounded by very talented people, and hopefully I’ve picked up a bit along the way. Currently, I play at being A TD at The Orphanage a visual effects firm in SanFrancisco.
Up intill recently I had been a senior artist at Stormfront Studios, A games company in the Bay area, creating art for console games on the PS2, XBox and other platforms. Not all that may years ago I practiced Industrial design for a living and before that played with glass blowing and chemistry amongst other things.
About ten years ago I became interested computer graphics and had the good fortune to become friends with one of the authors of 3dStudio. From that point on I’ve been involved with creating content, testing new software and recently writing some of my own code. It’s been a fun ride and it hasn’t stopped yet.
This site is a small window into the work I’ve done over the past few years as well as some of the things I’m interested. If you find something that catches your eye or raises a question let me know. Till then, enjoy.

P.S. about the image. A couple of years ago I went down south to The Tech, Museum of Innovation in San Jose, CA. One of the hands on exhibits uses a robotic arm to draw an image-processed rendering of a photograph of your face. It’s a bit rough and you can’t really make out the glasses, but I think it’s a fair likeness. Oh, and someone recently mentioned that it looks like there is a cat sneaking into the lower corner. Hmm, they could be right.
